AI that answers to you

Every missed message is a customer walking out the door. Catch what you're missing — without losing control.

EnqLayer brings your enquiries — email forwarding and web forms today — into one approval queue and drafts the reply in your voice. You always press send.

0 unapproved sends — by architecture. Free · a trade pick, 3 setup answers, then 8 core questions · no email needed to start

Illustration — email + web forms live today; more channels building in the open.

Why it's different

Not a chatbot. Not a VA. Not autopilot.

You don't need another tool. You need the missed work to stop slipping through the cracks between the tools you already have.

ONS data puts construction at the lowest AI adoption of any industry: 13%. You do not need another CRM, chatbot or AI-transformation project. Start with the decision already slipping between the tools you use.

It never clocks off

The 8pm email, the Sunday web-form enquiry — caught and drafted while your competitors sleep on it.

It follows the customer

Email and web forms today, with more channels building in the open — once a channel's wired in, fewer leads slip away.

It does the chasing

Quotes and quiet leads get nudged on the schedule you approve — until they turn into a booking or a clean no.

You keep the final word

Nothing risky is sent, priced or promised without your one tap — the drafts wait for you.

How it works

Three steps. You only touch the last one.

From a message you'd have missed to a reply you're proud of — in seconds, while you get on with the job.

01 — Capture

Caught in one queue

Email forwarding and web forms land in one queue. The lead you'd have lost is now top of the list.

02 — Draft

The reply writes itself

Answered in your tone with the right details — ready before you've finished your coffee.

03 — Approve

You tap. It's gone.

One glance, one tap — sent. Prices and promises always wait for your yes.

Inside the product

This is the actual product — running on demo data.

No mockups, no borrowed dashboards. These are EnqLayer's real screens running the full loop on a fictional demo company — Kestrel Roofing & Guttering Ltd of Stirling. The slate “Demo data” ribbon in every shot ships with the product's demo mode, so a demo can never pose as customer proof.

New enquiry AI draft Safety flags Your approval Stamped send Follow-up chase Outcome Audit proof
EnqLayer cockpit with demo data: the approval queue, an enquiry from Tom Askew waiting 31 hours, an AI draft with a PRICE safety flag, the follow-up plan the approval covers, a ledger excerpt, and the Approve and send action bar. Demo data

Read, trust, approve — one screen, one tap.

A £450 leak repair from the demo queue: the enquiry, the draft written in the owner's voice, and the AI's own safety flags — PRICE (“check before sending”) and UNSURE. Under the draft sits the exact follow-up plan your yes covers, word for word. On regulated work the approve button isn't greyed out — it's absent, and the enquiry routes to a human.

EnqLayer Follow-ups screen with demo data: chases in flight with nudge timelines, a stopped nudge marked stopped they replied, and outcomes Won £8,400, Clean no and Stale. Demo data

It chases — and stops the moment they reply.

Every chase in flight, with the approved wording printed on the timeline. When the customer answers, the remaining nudges stop and show it — struck through, “stopped — they replied”. Outcomes are recorded by the owner: won, a clean no, or stale.

EnqLayer Audit trail screen with demo data: an append-only ledger for one enquiry — received, drafted, approved via email reply with sender and timestamp, sent, nudged, stopped on reply, won at £8,400. Demo data

Every send carries its approval.

The receipt-grade story of one lead: received, drafted, flagged, approved — “YES” via email reply, with the sender and the timestamp — sent, chased, stopped, won. Append-only, and failures stay on the record instead of disappearing.

EnqLayer mobile approval screen with demo data: one enquiry waiting 31 hours, a PRICE flag, draft version two and a thumb-zone Approve and send button. Demo data

Approve from the van.

Built for an owner mid-job, not a desk. The demo enquiry here has been waiting 31 hours — and the product says so in red instead of hiding it.

  • One decision per screen
  • The approve button in the thumb zone
  • Edit and Hold a tap away

What it does

Plug the leak that's costing you most. Then the next.

Start with the one workflow that pays: quotes answered and chased. More modules ship on the roadmap — switched on as they're proven.

Reply drafting

A ready-to-send answer for every message — you just glance and approve.

Follow-up chasing

Quotes and quiet leads get nudged until they turn into a yes — or a clean no.

Missed-call rescue

If your phone system emails a missed-call alert (most VoIP systems can), this is the missed-call module we're building for launch — the alert becomes a logged enquiry with a callback draft ready, building in the open.

Your records, yours

Every enquiry, approval and outcome exported clean to the sheet you already trust. CRM connectors are on the roadmap.

Safety flags

PRICE, PROMISE, REGULATED, UNSURE — the AI checks its own work and shows you why, before you approve.

Who it's for

Built first for trades & home services.

That's where EnqLayer starts — quotes answered and chased while you're on the tools. The Free Leak Check is tuned for 41 trades — from roofers to vets. Other service businesses will be wired in via assisted setup as roadmap modules ship.

The line that makes it safe

AI does the grunt work. You keep the keys.

Speed without the panic. EnqLayer clears the repetitive chasing off your plate — but a real human signs off before a single price, promise or reply reaches a customer.

The real advantage is a concrete decision you get back — what to reply, what to chase and what to approve — without migrating to a new system.

AI does the heavy lifting

Catches it, sorts it, writes the reply, flags anything that needs your eye — in seconds.

You tap approve

Nothing leaves the building without your yes. Sensitive replies and prices always wait.

It's yours, end to end

Your enquiries, approvals and outcomes export clean to the tools you already run — and stay yours if you ever leave.

Scripted product preview

Not a chat box. A cockpit that waits for your approval.

Scripted product preview — illustrative steps, not a live run.

What follows is a fixed, pre-written illustration of the intended flow: an enquiry arrives, an example reply is drafted, a follow-up is lined up, and the founding price from the plan is shown. It does not read your inbox, your tools or your data, and nothing in it is sent.

Why EnqLayer

The cheaper option isn't catching what you're losing.

Each tool below does one slice. EnqLayer is the layer that catches the enquiry falling between them.

Published benchmark for UK micro-businesses (0–9 people): an estimated £9,214 and 75 hours a year spent chasing late payments. It is a benchmark, not a forecast of what your business is losing.

The line we hold

What EnqLayer will NOT do.

Every AI vendor tells you what their robot can do. Just as important is what ours refuses to do — here it is, in writing.

Talk to your customers instead of you
It drafts the reply and stops. You read it, you send it.
Send anything on its own
It drafts and waits for your yes — approval-first by design, not a setting. Every send is stamped with who approved it, when, and via which channel. The one exception: an instant “we've got your enquiry” note you can switch on yourself, once, deliberately. Off by default.
Ask you to “set it and forget it”
You see every enquiry and every reply — your name is on every approval.
Replace you or your staff
It does the tedious part, then hands the keyboard back to the person in charge.
Decide prices, promises or bookings
Anything that commits your business waits for your tap.
Give medical, legal or financial advice
Regulated topics always route to a human — no exceptions.
Pretend to be human
It says it's an assistant. Ask for a person and it hands you over.

Fair questions

Asked by owners who don't trust AI. Good.

Straight answers to the questions a careful buyer should ask before letting any software near their customers.

Is this another platform my team has to learn?

No. EnqLayer wires into the tools you already run — your inbox, your sheet, your CRM. The goal isn't another app to check; it's that the work between your existing tools stops falling on the floor.

Does the AI ever send anything by itself?

No. Sending is approval-first by design — not a setting you have to find. Every reply waits for a human tap, and every send is recorded against the approval that authorised it: who said yes, when, via which channel. The one exception is an instant “we've got your enquiry” acknowledgement — an option you switch on yourself, once, deliberately. It's off by default.

What does the AI actually do, then?

The tedious first pass: it captures the enquiry, pulls out the details, drafts a reply in your voice, lines up the follow-up and keeps the record straight. Then it stops. Its job ends at the word “ready” — the judgement stays yours.

Who owns the data — and what happens if we stop paying?

You do. Records live in your tools — your inbox, your sheet, your CRM — not locked away in ours. If you stop the monthly service, you keep your data and everything already set up. What you lose is the active layer: drafting, chasing, upkeep and support.

What does the monthly service cost?

Founding Access is a fixed £199/month for early customers; standard £299 later — the same figures shown in the pricing section above. The audit, assisted scoping and post-founding onboarding are estimated and confirmed before you pay.

Can you connect to the tools we already use?

If it can receive an email or a webhook, we can wire it in — and that covers most tools a small business runs on. We connect what's useful, safe and maintainable, and we won't promise that everything connects to everything on day one.

Can it answer the phone?

It doesn't speak to callers — and we won't pretend otherwise. If your phone system can email or webhook a missed-call alert (most VoIP systems can), that's the missed-call module we're building for launch — the alert becomes a logged enquiry with a callback draft ready. Building in the open. Live AI answering is a roadmap add-on, only for businesses where calls create most of the work.

Is this here to replace my receptionist — or me?

No. It takes the repetitive chasing off whoever runs your front desk — the nights, the weekends, the ladder moments — and hands every decision back. If you hire, your next person inherits a working system, not a mess to decode.

What's the first step?

The £149 Enquiry Leak Audit — run by email, by us, no calls. We map how enquiries reach you, show where they leak, and hand you a plan. If you go on to join EnqLayer within 14 days of your audit, that £149 comes off your first month in full. If you don't, the audit stands on its own and nothing further is owed.

Catch it. Draft it. Approve it. Done.

Start with the one enquiry flow your business keeps missing. See the setup, the estimate and the approval rules before anything goes live.
